We’re looking for a Developer to join our Engineering Team - this role will involve maintenance of current codebases, identifying and implementing improvements, and working on new features.
You’ll be working in a small development team, and be supported by our Principal Developer.

The Role:

This role will see you working with different, multidisciplinary teams and multiple stakeholders to:

  • Specify and build new features Support and maintain the existing suite of apps, including improving test coverage and documentation and technical debt reduction
  • Collaborate with designers and QAs to ensure good user experience
  • Report to the Principal Developer

  • About you

    You should apply if:

  • You want to be involved in building a variety of products which are used to resolve disputes
  • You’re happy to pick up existing apps and code and make them better
  • You’re comfortable with a start-up environment and fast-paced change
  • You’re interested in handling a variety of technologies, and looking to continually improve upon them

    You should have:
  • Strong Ruby skills, particularly with Rails
  • Experience with database technologies (e.g. MySQL or PostgreSQL)
  • A good knowledge of AWS and experience working with infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform, Puppet)
  • An understanding of front-end technologies such as Stimulus, React or Angular
  • Fluency in English and the ability to work in the UK without sponsorship
